After many months of dealing with a sponge holder that was held by suction and constantly falling down I found this product and decided to give it a shot. It was easy to adhere and easy to place the metal holder on the adhesive hooks. It has a simple design but what really sets it apart is that it has an adhesive backing instead of suction cups. The holder feels really sturdy and I am sure it will last . And unlike so many other “rust proof” items I have had that do rust, these do NOT rust. I would recommend this product.
Although only in place for a week, it seems to be a sponge holder that will finally stay in place for more than the few days that the suction cup holders do. I was careful to scrub off the stainless bowl wall with multiple wipes of alcohol to remove any soap residue before applying the adhesive backed holder. Look nice. Using one for a scrub sponge and one for a standard sponge. Hoping for long term survival.
Previous had suction & magnet types both were disappointing this holds sponges out of the way so they dry!👍 even with the fact that you can't move it for cleaning it's better
The holder has only been up for a week (stainless steel kitchen sink), but it hasn't fallen off and the basket has taken a couple of hits that partially dislodged it from the adhesive holder. We just snapped the basket back onto the holder and it's still "good to go".
I'll give it a couple of months to see how it holds up. If it's still hanging in there, I'll probably order another one.
This is the 4th product I use for the kitchen sink sponge holder. All the product I tried except this one failed. This one works great. I have been using it over a month and it is solid and great for holding one sponge. So far so good. I like it a lot.

Where to use:
ONLY stick on smooth hard surfaces. DON'T stick on painted walls or wallpapers as it will take off your paint or wallpapers.
How to use
1. Clean the area where the adhesive installed.
2. Peel off the protective cover on the back, install the adhesive and press firmly to squeeze air out.
3. Hang the shelf on the hook. It can be used 5 hours after installation.
How to remove:
You can use a hair dryer to heat the adhesive surface, then tear off the installed adhesive.
