Very nice quality, I'm impressed. Thick plastic, the outside walls are over an 1/8" thick, very sturdy. The fit & finish of the plastic is excellent: edges are crisp but smooth, with no little plastic nubs sticking out (as many plastic objects have), the drain holes have rounded edges, so they should be easy to clean. Well worth the price, the quality shows.
I'll give the Italians credit--being Italian of course--they have perfected making beautiful things out of plastic.
* There was question asked about dish brushes doing well in the caddy. I purchased a LIbman brand dish brush that looks like it was almost made for it, a notch on the brush handle lines up with the ring-post notch on the caddy (photo attached).
I got the Caddy to go along with the Soap Dispenser. The soap dispenser came later than the Caddy, but I am Really, Really darn excited to have the caddy with dispenser. Dispenser was kinda expensive, but it is sturdy and well built, doesn't leak or get clogged up. The plunger has a big circular top to it, so it works very efficently, and gives our the perfect amount of soap. No regrets at all about the purchase! It will pay for itself since I won't be buying crappy stuff any more.
