This bamboo dish rack replaced a pine Ikea version, and it's of much better quality. For one, a raised rim prevents round glasses from sliding over the edge, and a slightly wider slot at either end allows you to prop a cutting board or a thicker lid. Have been using it for several weeks now and am very pleased with how sturdy it is. When you compare different racks, make sure to check the size - some are really small. This is the only one that spans a regular size kitchen sink.
We bought this to replace our IKEA pine folding dish rack. We've tried other bamboo racks before and they're usually so small they don't fit over any drain board. This one is almost the same size as our IKEA one, and much more durable- given that it's bamboo. My only complaint is that the width the top opens isn't as wide as our previous rack and it can be difficult to put some large pots and bowls up there. I would still probably buy it again as they seem so hard to come by!
I've been using wooden dish drying racks for 30 years...this is by far the nicest one I've had. It is sturdy, doesn't wobble, and small plates don't fall out through the top rack. The spaces are smaller which means more dishes fit on there, but there is still a wider space at each end for items that are thicker (like wooden cutting boards). SO happy with this purchase. :)
Sometimes it's the little things in life. This is one of those. I just put a dish towel under it and find a clean space on the counter. Then pile on my clean dishes to dry. Very nicely built and makes doing dishes easier.

Very well made drying rack, good quality bamboo. The fasteners are sturdy tight. It dries quickly so there doesn't seem to be any moisture lingering. Its still new for me, but no mold problems yet, unlike my previous pine drying racks. Overall good quality!
i like it. it fits an unusually sized drawer.
