This Spoon Rest/Lid Holder appeared to be exactly what I needed. Small enough to fit on the stovetop (not so large that it required counter space), yet sturdy enough to hold large lids. I probably won't run it through the dishwasher as I'm sure there would be rust issues or a risk of the wingnuts coming loose. Shipping had some issues and took longer than expected, but was delivered within 6 days (2-day shipping?) so I figure that's reasonable. Would buy this product again. Would buy through this seller again.
I'm a big believer in the power of fixing life's minor annoyances. Not having a proper place to rest a spoon/spatula when cooking was one of those small daily irritants that I just have no patience for anymore. I hadn't realized that not having a good holder for the pot or pan lid while cooking bothered me at all, but when I saw this product, I figured why not kill two birds with one stone. I'm quite pleased with it, it looks nice, it's easy to clean, and does exactly what it's supposed to do. I can't believe I didn't own something like this decades ago.
My husband, who cleans the kitchen after I cook, always complained because laying the steamy lids on the counter or stove top made a mess. I really bought these for him, but for me to use. It's perfect! It handles my biggest lid and my smallest. I originally intended to buy one suggested by a famous cooking magazine, but this one was so much cheaper I thought I'd give it a try. My husband and I both love it! I have not put it through the dishwasher because I want to be sure it stays nice and shiny, but it is no big deal to wash it with the pots and pans. I might even buy some for gifts.
I use lids a lot making pasta, beans, steaming veggies and seafood so it's real handy having a place for the lid and spoon on the stovetop. I used to move the lid and spoon to a cloth by the sink and dripped water all over, this takes care of that. I really like it and use it a lot. Looks good too being stainless steel.
This is pretty small, so I was worried about it holding up my large pan lids. But it worked perfectly! I LOVE this piece and actually love how small it is for easy storage. I wouldn't put in dishwasher, in case it starts to rust. I just wash by hand with other dishes I have to wash anyway.

I love this pot lid holder. It holds small lids and big lids. Your spoon...etc. Did not tip over. Nice stainless steel. Easy to clean. Good price.
I bought this for my daughter because she mentioned how much she wishes she had one. (We had one like this when she was younger and lived at home.) She's THRILLED with it as there isn't a lot of room in her kitchen to neatly place a pot lid and a spoon separately.
Love it. Couldn’t give straight 5 starts tho because it comes apart everyday. Screws don’t stay tight. It’s a great idea once I put rubber dots on the bottom to keep from sliding. Every kitchen would benefit in at least one for each side of your stove. Does topple over when kids are placed tho except for very small kids.
Ahhh, the little things in life!! This holder is the best thing ever!! Keeps you from putting that lid on the stove or propping up against the pot or holding it in hand and the water and hit steam gets to you!! I love it for the spoon rest as well, all cooks should have one!!
Not as thick as I thought, but it serves its purpose. really enjoy using it when cooking to put hot pot cover on.
