Thick plastic and fits standard kitchen drawer. It extends width wise nicely edge to edge of the drawer so I don’t have to leave anything out in the side or include any other dividers. Length wise I wish it had one more space or that it also expanded that way but its not a deal breaker. It’s a durable plastic, I dropped it accidentally multiple times from a bar height and it didn’t crack or bend. No issues height wise there’s is a comfortable space to fill the compartments and not hinder opening/ closing the drawer. Overall good purchase.
