This fit over my cabinet door exactly like I expected. Using it to store glass lids from casserole dishes which usually clattered around and sometimes chipped banging into each other. in a box or on shelves. Must caution other buyers, however. If your cabinet shelves go all the way to front edge of the cabinet, this will probably not work since you need some clearance inside once you close the door. My cabinet is large and open on the bottom so these went in just fine. The weight of the lids hold the rack close to the door. The baskets feel sturdy and have thick heavy wire. I will order another for the other side to store other things
I happened upon this item on one of my "late night amazon binges." I am super happy that I did! It has helped me reorganize all of my kitchen cabinets. You can use it for lids, sponges, cooking utensils, and pretty much anything that you may need or use on a consistent basis. If you hate bending over for long periods of time because you can't find that ONE thing you need under the cabinet, then this is for you!
really wanted this to work....but the shape of my doors would not permit this to work properly. When it arrived, it seemed sturdy and like it would finally be the solution for all those damn lids! but short of installing new cupboard doors it simply wouldn't work for me :(
with the closed handles of my pot lids I can only put one lid in each "bin" and then I can hang two of my lids that have an open handle off the front of the bottom basket. I can imagine it would hold bunches of plastic container lids, but pot and pan lids are my problem. It helped enough to make some space in my cupboard that I decided to keep it. But it did not fulfill my fantasy of organizing me. Which is a tall order.
Great for organizing large lids. The smaller lids slip through the back. If it had a backing less lids would escape. I still enjoy it...it has helped me to be more organized.

This was just what I needed for all my different sized lids. Now I can find the one I need right away.
Wish it had something sticky to stick on the bottom to the cupboard but i had to use ducttape. I had to put some on the sides too so the small tupperwear containers wouldnt slide out. Still happy with the product
