The quality of this storage bin is great. It's sturdy and the lid closes and fits perfectly. Hinges are robust. But the dimensions listed in the product description are a bit off. The height of 5" is correct, but the length and width are off. Description says it is 5.5" x 6.6" and then is listed again further down as 5.5"x6.7". The actual dimensions (on the outside of the container) are only 4.75"x6.25". Wasn't really an issue for me. Might be an issue for you.
I drilled holes in the top and made an awesome tarantula enclosure! Perfect size and material!
These things are awesome for keeping Tarantulas in. Easy to melt ventilation holes with a soldering iron. Easy to glue some cabinet magnets on to keep things a bit more secure. Very clear. Pretty good price for the size.
One thing to pay attention to is the area around the hinge. There's a gap. I wouldn't put any small slings in there. They might be able to slip out. I bet smaller B. lats could sneak out too. Aside from that, all my T's will be transferred to these once they hit juvie size. I bought some of the bigger sizes from this company and my review is the same for those. Will buy again.
Quality containers. I love them so much I’ve now bought 6 of them, and want more. Hinged lid instead of snap on, and heavy duty, crystal clear material. I use mine for several different things. Makeup, refrigerator items, and ...don’t laugh... as a Kleenex box. My dog eats kleenexes, so I needed a “closed” container instead of a pop up where she can steal tissues when I’m not looking. Granted, I have to place my Kleenex box (it’s the cube size Kleenex box) in sideways instead of upright, but there is enough space at the end for me to easily pull the tissues out without lifting the Kleenex box out of the container. A great product and I believe they make several different sizes for various needs.

I keep extra spices and was looking for a container to organize the spices cluttered in my kitchen cabinet. I was only able to put a few bags in this box because of its small size ( bad judgement on my part)
but I liked the product even though a bit pricey for the size. I searched and now ordered a bigger container from the same company. Hope the two of them would solve the purpose and organize the clutter in my cabinet. Will update the review once I receive the other box. Stay tuned!!
My refrigerator is small and very basic. This container has been great in organizing items. Just pull out the container, take what I need and put the container back in the fridge. Right now it is holding bags of grated cheeses. Plus the fridge looks neat.
I really like these stackable flip top containers. No wasted space with slanted sides. Great for all sorts of storage.
I ordered multiple sizes and shapes of mDesign Stackable Plastic Storage Bin to organize my son's office utility cabinet. I am very pleased with the quality of the products, the sturdiness of the bins and the price. The cabinet looks fantastic. Next project is the pantry...thank you mDesign.
I’ve been wanting some of these for awhile now, so when I finally found them on Amazon, I jumped on it. I use mine in my vanity to hold my powder foundations and in my kitchen canbinets for extra organization.
