I bought this a gift for my mother. We are always dumping our shoes near the front door. Always disorganized and messy looking it was. She likes to keep things looking organized and clean. With this two-tier rack our foot-wear has a place to be without looking like a messy pile of shoes. We even take advantage of the space underneath the bottom tier so it is like having a third floor. Easy installation, I was able to put it together myself with the help of the provided directions and I do not consider myself a Mr. Fix-it. Does not take up a lot of space so it was able to fit in-between our front door up-stairs and the coat rack easily; about 26 inches of lateral space taken up and only about 15 inches tall. We were impressed by the Espresso-color.
Just set up two of these stacked up into a four-tier shelf, took less than five minutes to unpack and set them both up. They look exactly as pictured, a very dark brown, almost black, almost wood-plank look. Very clean lines, classic, would fit with a lot of décor styles. I was worried based on the reviews that they would be pretty flimsy, but they are NOT. When you place the shelves, it seems like they are in, but you have to push down extra hard and they click in even further, which really strengthens up the unit. I purchased this one rather than a similar 3-tier one also made by Seville Classics because I had the room under my coats for a fourth shelf - my husband and I are pretty tall so I hung our closet bar higher than normal. I could fit this under all my regular and 3/4 length coats and jackets. We are Dutch so taking off our shoes when we enter the mudroom is standard procedure. Unfortunately, as our family grew, not all of us could fit our coats and shoes in our adorable wood locker wall. I was tired of tripping on my own shoes so have retrofitted our mudroom/laundry storage closet for adult coats and my shoes and our toddler's shoes. What I love about this set up is I can still fit a whole row of shoes under the unit on the floor, plus rubber boots in front of the rack and thecloset doors will still shut. This unit will be easy to clean and YES is sturdy enough to slide over, fully loaded with shoes, when I have to sweep or mop. Made in China, distributed by a USA company in CA.
I was looking for a nice looking shoe rack for all me shoes, that was cheap and would hold all my shoes, and I came across this and decided to give it a try. When it arrived I was super excited and opened the box right up, it was really easy to set up, with absolutely no tools required. I love it, so I recommended it to my mother and she bought one for her self and she also loves it. These not only great for shoes, but they are also great for storing cans. I love the fact that they are stackable so if I decide to buy more I can stack them up. I recommend these to everyone. 5 stars for sure!
I am glad I ordered this shoe rack for my winter boots. It fits perfectly beside my door and keeps boots from being scattered all over the entrance room. It keeps things looking neater and more organized. Clears up the mess. Aside from that, it is sturdy, well made and screws together in 15 minutes. Great purchase at the right price. Also, the rack will be easy to wipe clean. The resin is strong and looks good. I am very happy with this utility rack.
I needed a shoe rack for my entry closet and this fits great. It seems pretty sturdy for both boots and regular shoes. I like the rack is thicker, so my heels won't fall through. The first shelf is high enough so you can put shoes underneath as well.
The only thing I will say (which is why I took off a star), is that one of the side pieces was misaligned, so it was hard to get it to fit into the slot to secure it to the side pieces. I had to take a hammer to it to push it the other way to make it fit. Other than that, this seems like a good buy.

The rack itself is very nice. It cleaned up my space rather nicely, and has the option of being extended to hold even more. The only problem I had was that one of the shelves I received was warped and didn't fit into it's slot correctly. I had to widen one of the screw-holes in order to get it fully assembled.
I was worried about this one, there are some scary reviews showing damaged products and stories that it doesn't go together. Not always the case!
This arrived in perfect condition, well-packed and with no defects. It went together easily, I didn't even need the instructions. Just a few screws and a few caps on the corners and it was ready to go. Seems to be very sturdy.
Pretty good. I replaced my old slanted shoe rack with this. It's great because it is not only two-tiered, but the bottom allows enough space for shoes as well, so it's almost three-tiered.
The material feels cheap, but is good enough. The set-up was slightly a pain, but sholdn't take longer than 15 mins.
Built it by myself, was super annoying but I managed. I feel like it could be made to be easier assembled but once it’s put together it sits there nicely in my closet and cleared up room. If I put it on my wood floor it would probably be a little wobbly. All depends how you screw the stuff together to get a balance.
The Seville 2 Tier shoe rack is the perfect size for a more narrow and low area below built-in closet shelves. It holds all my shoes; 6 pairs on the racks with 3 pairs contained below the bottom shelf. The shelf is sturdy and is a great color. Price can't be beat
