Kinetic Pot and Pan Rack with Ceiling Hooks - Premium Oval Mounted Oragnizer Rack with Multi Purpose Kitchen Organization and Storage for Home, Restaurant, Cookware, Utensils (Hanging Black)

Excellent change of ceiling rack for us. Two pictures of what we had it set as before (straight bar across) and then what it was after. I used the hooks that came with it and had to shorten up the chains a bit in order to have it closer to the beam than not. Took maybe 15 minutes set up/measure/drill and put in the hooks.

Only issue I had was putting two Lodge Cast Iron pans 10" and 8" skillets that weigh 13 lbs between the two of them. Removed those from both being on one side and it went from a little bit lopsided to pretty much perfect. I bought the rack with extra hooks, not sure I have used even one of them. Plenty of space recovered from having this pot rack and I kept the old one and moved it farther down the beam in order to hang garlic/onions and whatever else comes to mind.

Have had it a month and as you can see its pretty full up, no issues with bending hooks or unbalanced problems either.

(Requires a drill , 5/32" drill bit) not included. Easy to install just find the studs/ beams located in the ceiling. Recommend using a stud finder. Once you find the area you would like to hang this from just drill 4 holes With 5 /32" or (4,0mm) Drill bit. Then simply twist the hanging screws by hand. Fun little project. I did it myself and I have little experience using tools. If you find this review helpful please click the helpful button found below -Amazon man

This pot rack is great.

I originally regretted purchasing this over the stainless steel version, but it turned out to be a blessing in disguise.

This version is painted black, it isn't naturally black iron, but that is ok. When I began installing it I realized that I only had a single roof joist that was possible to use, so I had to drill two 1/2 inch holes through the rack to mount one side to the wall with lag bolts. Drilling through stainless steel would have been a huge pain.

In the attached photos, that one large pot on top is a stock pot, and it is HUGE, yet there is still room on this rack.

As other reviewers have recommended, you will want to pick up the Cuisinart pot hooks as they are superior to the ones that come with this kit. Having said that, I bought 12 extra hooks, and have used all of those and the ones that came with the pot rack. No doubt I will be ordering more hooks in the future.

Wow! I just love this product! This is one of the best things we have purchased in a long time. It's so functional. I used to have to fuss with stowing pots and pans inside cabinets, nesting inside one another, where they would get scratched. Larger ones I'd have to hide in the oven, having to unload the oven each time I wanted to use it. We mounted this over our kitchen island, and what a dream. Pots hang perfectly, no more nesting pots and worries of them scratching. Extra large pots can sit on top. The oven is free now for being an oven, not a storage unit. It holds absolutely everything!! Everything is so accessible, yet it's still neat and organized. Excellent quality, a must have!

Awsome pot rack. Sturdy build and great look for the price. Install was strait forward and didn't take long at all. It hold all of my pots pans and lids balanced with no problem. I ended up buying 4 ceiling mount light fixture covers (pictures) to make the install a bit neater looking. If I had more pots I would buy another one. Good buy!!

I absolutely love this pot rack. I couldn’t be more pleased. It might be my favorite kitchen accessory I’ve ever bought. Ever. It’s worth the money, without a doubt. I’ve saved so much cabinet storage space by being able to utilize otherwise empty space in my kitchen. I did buy a pack of extra hooks.

I can’t speak to the difficulty of installing it. I had my (very handy engineer degree having) brother in law come do it for me since he had the tools and know how already. I don’t think he had any trouble at all.

I’ve put more than pictured on the rack and it’s shown no signs of being overloaded. It’s very stable and very sturdy.

For the price paid the rack is nice. I notice that it does fluctuate in price quite a bit on Amazon. Personally I would have preferred black chain with the set, but I can change that easy enough. I got this as a space saver in a weekend cabin. It works great for my purpose. For my purpose I didn't need a $200 rack to impress anyone. I'm hanging a full set of pots and quite a few utensils, plus all the lids up top. If I was ordering again I would add some black chain and more hooks. I ended up buying more hooks as soon as it arrived. I had no quality issues at all.

We live in a tiny house with a tiny kitchen. We had been storing most of our pots and pans on top of the fridge, and a bunch of spatulas and similar items in a drawer or hanging from a ceiling railing I installed a while back. It was very inadequate.

Finally I did some research and discovered this hanging pot rack which is perfect for our needs. I had seen larger racks in professional kitchens, and I knew there had to be some kind of solution for a small home kitchen. This Kinetic rack looked like it would do the trick for us.

Using a stud finder, I located the ceiling joists and measured off the locations of the hooks, then drilled using approximately a 1/8" bit, firmly screwed in the hooks (you want to definitely make them equal in length). This was by far the longest part of the project.

Then I simply hooked the chains to the ceiling and finally mounted the rack. The chains are generous in length, in case you have extra-high ceilings. In our case we only needed 4 links of the chain, and I'm actually thinking about getting some decorative black or gold chain from the hardware store in suitable length, which would look a little better in my opinion than the simple steel chains included.

I find it best to balance the rack with the heaviest items at the four corners, so you don't get the rack tipping and coming off one of the chains. We've got a lot of our stuff up there now and have made a lot of space in our drawers and top of fridge (still nowhere to put pot lids, but it's still a vast improvement).

This is a rugged, functional and nice looking addition to a kitchen. I would definitely buy this again.

Could not beat it for the price. I made sure to drill into actual beams in the ceiling, and have had no problem with it holding two sets of pots and pans. It sways a little when I'm attaching or removing things but not enough to cause concern. The only thing that's less than wonderful is the size of the rack on top...again, I'm using it for two sets and it's pretty tight for two soup pots + lids. I'm not even going to ding it a star, though, because it still works and it would be perfectly fine for a single set. It's adequately attractive, there are plenty of hooks, and the chain lengths were fine for my sloped ceiling.

I had saved a different ceiling pot hanger, for weeks & as it got closer to date for move I went on Amazon to order, but only to find a higher rated & priced lower item that has surpassed my expectations and I’m now officially in the ‘Hanging cast iron pot & pan hanger’ exclusive club. In Alaska, these sell for $200 min so when I ordered mine, got Prime shipping (free) and it arrived, it’s the first thing you see when entering the kitchen, along w/ my spectacular stainless steel pot/pan collection. This is one of the best investments of my life & w/ the 25 year warranty, my kids will inherit it. Thank you, Amazon❣️
