Before I purchased these I saw in the Q&A someone asked about using hardware to attach these. I had the same question. After I inspected the adhesive backing and sized everything up, I decided to go with the adhesive. First of all, the instructions are great, they explicitly tell you exactly what you have to do with easy to follow diagrams. But they don't tell you how. So here's how you should do it if you want to follow the instructions. Clean area (side of fake wood veneer cabinet) with fantastikal type cleaner. Rinse with a damp paper towel, then dry with towel ** make sure it is dry. Eyeball it up, mark with a pencil at one side. Break out a small level and make a mark on the other side. I used a length of blue painters tape to make my level line. Peel off backing and align the bottom to the tape and put just enough 'touch' to it so it stays in place. And please, make sure the hooks are pointing up.
I tour off a small section of cheap paper plate to rub out the air.
First, press in CENTER hook with thumb or finger - push hard and squeeze out all the air.
Then, using the paper plate piece and your thumb, start in the CENTER moving toward the edges in small circular motions as if you were buffing the wax off a car. It's best to have good lighting as you can see the "air" disappear as you wash it out. When you get to the next hook, again press the air out of it using your thumb. Then continue pushing the air out in small circular motions toward the end. Take your time to get all the "air out" before you expand your area. You'll be able to see if you missed any.
It says to wait 24 hours before you use it. I installed the racks right away. They seem pretty solid.
I can't give it 5 stars because haven't used them. But I'm guessing they're not gonna come crashing down.
Oh, and if do want to use hardware, it can be done. But I'd use what they give you unless it's a very porous surface. I'm guessing if you stick these up on painted drywall, you'll be pulling the paint of with it when you grow tired of it. And the weight capacity will go waaaay down if you do. I wouldn't stick these to drywall - use hardware.
Update: Waited 24 hours per instructions. These things are strong and I expect them to be hanging long after I'm gone.
These are great shelves. Easy to put up and seem to very sturdy. I had read a few reviews about them not sticking. So... I made sure no steamy showers were take the evening I put shelves up...just to give it extra time to adhere. Also, went over the sticker part once on the wall with a popsicle stick to get out air bubbles.
I have bought several of these organizing shelves in different sizes and styles by Odesign, and I absolutely LOVE them. They have saved me so much counter space in my very small kitchen- that's where I use them. I cannot say how easy they are to remove because I haven't needed to remove them. But, they stick so well and are very, very secure. I put my spices on these and they each hold at least 12 standard size spice jars. These are a little pricey, but I think it's worth the money.
Adhesive shelves..... mind blown. I am in a rental and there literally wasn't a single shelf anywhere. I could see after being here a month that having to put everything on counters was very quickly turning into a clutter factory. However, the walls in this place might as well be made of cotton candy, so drilling holes and doing all that just isn't reliable or good for the walls. I was really looking for something adhesive. There are the 3M ones that i may get as well, but for now, these were good for the kitchen.
The adhesive is so serious the shelves could EASILY be bigger than they are. These things aren't going anywhere as is, so another two inches in length would have still been good. That is my only gripe, really. I did smash my thumb pretty nicely when pressing the wire shelf into the adhesive bracket, it slipped off and.... yeah... a few explicatives were hurled.
But otherwise, these are really great. I know there are a few companies who make them, so I dont know if my happiness is necessarily company-specific, but this product in general is perfect for many things. If you dont like the chrome (and they definitely should come in other colors, there's no reason not to), you can always paint them, spray paint them, etc. I would like to get some and spray paint fun colors. The chrome works for industrial places like kitchen and bath, though.
I included some pics and also a pic with my hands so you can see the relative size. Pretty small. And I have really small hands. No question that I will be getting more for other spaces, though. I knew it right away. I could maybe do with a lower price? $25 seemed like a lot,I might try to find some a tad cheaper but with food reviews. Very happy!
These were the perfect solution for a very small bathroom shared by 7 kids. I was a bit worried that they wouldn't hold. So far they have done a spectacular job.

These are great! I didnt want to drill any more holes in my bathroom tile. You can barely see the adhesive and it’s super strong!
Easy to install and looks very nice. I was able to fit a lot of products onto the shelves. I am buying a second set. Have to wait and watch to see if they stay on the tiled wall in my shower. My shower tiles are travertine and don’t have an even smooth surface. I tried to smooth out the adhesive strip as much as possible to remove all air pockets.
Note: you have to push the basket into the hook and apply some pressure. At first I was scared to do that because it didn’t appear it would fit. And I was concerned about breaking the hooks. But just apply pressure and it clicks into place.
I didn't believe it would stay up, but it has. And it looks great. My bathroom was such a mess and with one of these kn my bath and one on the mirror, I have tamed the chaos! They're a lot stronger than I thought they'd be, too. I'm so happy I bought this.
Also I stuck the 3rd adhesive up for 48 hours and attempted removal before doing the "real install" and it came down easy using the hair dryer as they suggested.
These have made a huge difference in the shower. They hold more than a corner caddy and shower is easier to clean. Easy install and have been staying secure for over a month. I seriously doubt they will ever come off considering how the adhesive SHEET goes on. Literally could do pull-ups from it. Good value purchase.

PERFECT. I have ceramic tile in my bathroom and these stick perfectly to it. I haven't had any issues with them, and I put everything on these shelves that I had laying in the shower -- so they're definitely sturdy. I didn't want anything with suction cups, or a rod that went from the floor to the ceiling, or a caddy that went around the shower head (because we have a detachable shower head). So, these were literally the only things I could find that would fit my need and they did. I've had them up for about a month or two now.
