They work well, both have a strong magnetic force. They are attached to wall w a screw on ea ch side and its anchor which makes it stay in place in the wall. This is an important feature (that not all strips have) because when I remove a knife I feel the strip’s really strong magnet want to pull from the wall to stay with the knife you’re removing. (As magnetic force would expect 😊)

This is an amazing product! It holds a decent amount of knives with out falling off the wall. The only tip I have is don’t stick them to close together, we got ours stuck together and it was almost impossible to get them apart.
