I wanted a sink caddy that let in plenty of air to prevent mold and I wanted a sturdy piece that would not rust. So far this appears to be well made and definitely sturdy. Trying to figure out how to put things in it can be a challenge because everything falls through or out of the wire part but I will figure out ow to make it work eventually.
The main problem I have with it is that it slips easily with the slightest touch. It has fallen in the sink several times and I was afraid it would break my glasses or dishes... The plastic pieces on the ends do not hold it in place and probably would be better if they were rubber or silicone. I plan to find some sort of suction cups to try to attach to it (what I was trying avoid) to hold it in place. So while it is well made I have to remove 1 star for this design flaw.
I really like the quality of this product. It is strong and looks very durable. It fits perfectly in the bottom of my sink but if I want I can expand the sides so that it sits on the top. The expandable sides are really easy to pull out but they are strong. I would definitely recommend this product.
Make no mistake, this is a minimalist drainer meant for holding a few items while you clean up the kitchen. It is not meant for storing half your dishes in it till the next meal. It is worth the price -- low profile, heavy duty wire, heavy gray vinyl sides, expanders so it can sit over sink. Well thought out and constructed! My guy (an engineer) and I are both pleased with the quality and design.
I've only had this dish drainer for about a week so I'll have to see how durable it is, but I like that it can be placed either in the sink or over it. It doesn't hold a huge amount but is sufficient, especially when inside the sink. Several people have mentioned that the utensil cup is too shallow but I haven't found that to be a problem either when the unit is inside the sink. All in all I'm quite pleased with it.
I recently remodeled my kitchen and installed a double offset sink. Unlike most people, I wanted the small basin on the left for drying dishes, and the large basin on the right for washing large pots and pans. My only dilemma was that my dish draining rack did not fit in the smaller sink. I purchased this dish draining rack 5 months ago and have been thrilled with it! Not only does it fit inside the sink, it also has expandable handles so that it can rest on the top of the sink. It has rubber grips on the handles and on the bottom so that it won't scratch your sink or counter. It is made of quality material, easy to clean, functional and a Must-Have if you want something to fit in a sink that is smaller than standard size.

It's made with a heavy gauge steel. I expected it to be cheap and flimsy but it isn't at all. It works fine in my sink, but it's also designed so it can free standing on a counter top, it has little rubber feet on the bottom. It's also designed well, if your sink is really tight for space the silverware holders can be positioned on the inside. However, if you have enough space they can also be hung on the outside edge of the rack freeing up more space for dishes. I'm rarely surprised by the quality of consumer products but this one did so pleasantly
Perfect! Arrived quickly and was exactly what I expected. Fits perfection my sink and holds all the dishes that I wash wonderfully. Sturdy even holds my pots and pans. Would definitely recommend this dish rack.
This is a very nifty product & it seems sturdy even with the amount of dishes I have put on it (including glass 12" glass pans I've washed before but did not take pictures of).
My only 2 complaints, it's just a tad bit too big for my sink but it still works very well (my sink is also a bit on the smaller size lol). Then the dish rack is a bit small also, but it forces me to wash dishes more often instead of them piling up which is not a bad thing. It turned out to be very very useful! Thank you!
It JUST works. I was afraid it wouldn't expand enough, but it does. I like it much better than the one I had.
As a single person with limited counter space, this really works well for me. Having it in the sink frees up a lot of counter space. It is smaller than my counter top rack by quite a bit, but it helps me wash the dishes more frequently rather than letting them pile up!
