I read all the reviews twice, and like the average consumer I was skeptical. But I decided to try it.
Excellent. All I had to do is take my time and put it together. It's not perfect it could be of better wood but for the price it's is actually the best.
Had to adjust it a bit, but it has worked wonderfully as wall shelves for my sons cars. We just put 2 shelves stacked side-by-side vertically with a sliver of wood between the corners and now he can store over 100 toy cars lined up on the wall since it makes 2 holders. Think it would be a little rickety for the intended purchase as a shoe rack though. The wood is a little splintered/not sanded as well, so we painted them. But perfect slat space between for matchbox cars to fit. You can find instructions for what I describe if you Google it.
Reminded me of the Ikea stereotype; all kinds of wood pieces packaged tightly, that once opened looked like pickup sticks on my table. Easy to put together, however it would've been nice with pre-marked screw holes as some of my efforts were off-center & ended up splitting the wood. Super lightweight & I'm sure it will last a lot longer than the other junky plastic thing I had before. I LOVE that it's screwed together & not just clips. Stands nice & tall and holds more than recommended, but I only use it for lightweight shoes. Would be good for other lightweight applications.
I bought two of these and used them as shelves for my husbands hot wheels collection..they got the job done but I do with that the slates where a bit wider, cause the cars are more like straddling the wood instead of sitting on it..but I can’t really complain because that’s not it’s intended use. For anyone else that might want to do this, I got 404 cars up.

Honestly i dont care- i just wanted something to put my shoes on, and i didnt want to pay much.
This did accomplish both of those while looking half decent in the process.
But i'm taking a star off for sending me 3 legs that were half an inch larger than the fourth. Expect yours to wobble if you try like i did to make sure its flush on the top.

Not a bad item considering the price. I should say I use it to hold 4 small plastic bins filled with my children light toys. I rated the shelf four stars because I'm sure it would hold up a lot better were it to be used for just shoes however it is a bit flimsy and wobbly when it comes to putting some extra weight on it. Not a shelf for heavy items for sure
This is a decent shelf especially for the price. If you have a drill and a spare piece of wood, you might consider reinforcing it to make it a bit more sturdy, but overall, it's a decent shelf for what you pay for it. We use it in our RV closet. It's lightweight and holds our shoes perfectly.
I had a mess of shoes in my closet. So I got this nice wood shoe rack. The only issue is that you need an electric drill to screw all 10 screws in. Otherwise it will take forever. But I had one luckily. I put it together in 5 minutes. It looks great and my closet does too!
The shoe rack gets the job done. My shoes have a place to be stored and that’s that.
Pros are that it was low priced and it’s still extremely spacious. Mine is full with 9 pairs of shoes/sneakers and Ive had no issues. It’s also very easy to assemble.
Cons are that the materials are obviously very very cheap. The wood is hardly durable, so if there’s any way it would be in a position where it can be knocked into, or if the intention is to place extremely heavy items on it, I’m not sure this would be the best option.
I was a little worried about the low reviews, but after receiving it and putting it together, I have no concerns. It is shoe rack not palace furniture. It will do the job. I have no concerns. Easy to assemble if you know how to use a screw driver. It came with instructions and everything went well.
