Using this beside my fridge in my very small kitchen . It is very useful for sure. The shelves just sort of sit in between the sides and snap into place with tension... with nothing else holding the shelf together. I may try to add zip ties for more security, especially since I need to pull this out and push it back in out of the way almost every day as this is being used as a roll away spice rack/pantry .
It doesn't come with any hardware except the small casters. I love it. I build it together in 3 minutes. Just pop the baskets in the side, done.
It's sturdy enough and rolls very easy. I might have to order another one for toys. I love it. Perfect. It's very well made. I ordered this to keep knitting essentials handy and portable small thing in the kitchen. I like that it has absolutely no sharp edges or little snags to catch the yarn! I think it's very well made and actually a bit larger than I need but I'm sure I'll fill it up.
It is just the right width to fit next to my refrigerator, and I like that the shelves are a fine mesh so nothing falls though. It is also easy enough to put together, so I gave it four stars. The only thing I am not thrilled with is that the shelves (which are kind of like trays) don't seem to stay securely in place and can pop out of position when you move the cart. When one shelf does this all of the shelves tend to follow suit and the result is a cart with a bunch of loose trays. I am sure I can figure out some way to stabilize them so this doesn't happen, and it is the closest I have come to something that is sized correctly to work in this space, but I think it is fair to say that the unit could use a little re-engineering.
I have just enough width between the frig and the wall for this cart. I had a bit of trouble getting the shelves in until I reversed the front and back of the shelf and then everything was easy. For me I bought this to get some stuff out of a box and easier to access from either side of the cart when pulled out. It is perfect. My half gallon freezer containers fit very well on the shelf so I suspect that with a bit of reorganizing I will be able to use this little shelf even more. Wish it was available taller (but not wider) to match the full height of the frig.
This cart is so perfect for my small space. It actually fits tons a great stuff for someone lacking a pantry closet. I read a few reviews before purchasing this to see what others thought. The cart is great but the wheels suck. The wheels don't roll or turn well at all - even on smooth surfaces. Also, I wish it had a fifth shelf but that's just me dreaming.
The cart fits like a glove in the space I had intended. The poor quality wheels make it a little trickier to get out but its something I can work with. (Not many other products can fit the space like this one.) Overall, I think it is a great product and would order it again if needed. But it could be easily improved by better quality wheels. Oh, and I would upgrade if they had one with the same dimensions on width and a fifth shelf.

That is to say:
Obviously, you can't put 500lbs on it.
Obviously, if you didn't read the dimensions, it isn't the manufacturers fault. It's yours and you should go resume your daily activities of licking your trailer windows and drooling on yourself rather than cluttering the review section for the rest of us.
Obviously, if you top load it, it won't be stable.
If you pick it up by the top it will come apart (unless you glue, weld or tape the verticals together.)
If those things are a problem for you, get more money out and move along to something else.
If you're like me - keeping two racks in my pantry, putting heavy items on bottom, and not picking the rack up - it's perfect!
Assembly couldn't be easier - this from someone who hates doing product assembly. It usually takes me forever to get something put together, but had this one ready for action in five minutes flat. Takes an odd space beside my refrigerator and makes it functional. After loading it down, at first I wished the casters were larger to roll more easily - then I realized I had the casters locked (duh). Rolls just fine, even heavily loaded. (Does the reviewer who says it won't roll have the locks engaged?) The instructions call for placing one locking caster on either end (the other two casters do not lock), but because mine rolls back into the gap beside the fridge, I put both locking devices on the outward end.
Very handy shelf unit for my utility room. I have just enough space between my washer and dryer for this little shelf unit and it provides great space- saving storage for my cleaning and laundry bottles, etc. The only caution I would note is that it can be top heavy to tip over easily if you load the top shelf with heavier bottles - but, that is only if you would pull it all the way out. It rolls in and out very smoothly for easy access to everything stored on the shelves.
I wasn't sure when I first took this item out of the box how well it would stay together. The shelf baskets stay in place by sliding over a metal piece on each end section and then gravity does the rest. Surprisingly though, this rack is pretty sturdy, rolls well, and perfectly fills the awkward space I had beside my oven. I could also see one of these being useful in the laundry room between the washer and dryer.
5 minutes after box arrived, the cart was together. Simply snaps together, no tools. Once the baskets are snapped in place, the cart is quite sturdy and rolls well. I have mine loaded with CD cases of stamps and dies in my craft room. They sit at slight angle since the baskets are not wide enough for straight on access. Had a 7" space between shelving and a desk. Love this cart so much I'm going to get another for my kitchen! So versatile!
