The Xtreme mat was a perfect fit under my sink. I am very pleased with it, but instead of being priced @ $58, it should be priced far cheaper at around $40. I am pleased to have it as it fills a valid need.
Pan, fits perfectly under the kitchen sink. Fits front to back and side to side, I even got an alarm because of a prior leak. Already, we had an alarm go off. With a new stainless steel sink, that sits low in the cabinet, my wife jostled the drain at the sink trap. Water was leaking from that point. Each piece did it's job, the pan caught the water and the alarm let us know we had a problem. I think it's a necessity to have the pan since the bottom shelf of the sink cabinet is usually particle board which takes a beating when soaked. We already have a slope in the bottom of the cabinet from a previous leak. I wish I had had the pan and alarm before that leak. The leak dripped for a while as it was at where the hose screws onto the faucet head and the water ran back down the outside of the hose into the cabinet.
It fit perfectly in my 36" base cabinet. We sealed around the pipes. Our house is older so the pipes were installed long ago from the floor instead of through the wall. Wish I had thought of these sooner. I will always put these in all cabinets that have plumbing inside to protect from leaks.
I put this in a couple rentals under the kitchen sinks. It seems to be well made. The ones I received are a medium heavy & gray with a nice firm lip around the edge. It is flexible enough to bend around the center stile of the cabinet into place. Size wise it is about an inch less than the depth of the cabinet from the wall to the center stile of the cabinet so it needed no trimming to fit-my cabinets had no back so if there was a back it would have fit perfectly. Width wise my cabinets are open almost 5 ft to a corner so there was no concern-it was wide enough for the double doors. I think it will do a good job catching any water drips or garbage slops and protect the cabinet bottom.
We purchased this mat for our kitchen under sink cabinet. The mat itself is sturdy, stiff enough to hold its shaped and flexible enough to maneuver into place. The bottom is flat and the sides are about 1.5 inches tall creating a basin to hold water. The nature of the mat is stiff enough to hold a small amount of water but too flexible to hold its shape under the weight of a significant amount of water. Still, it's a great mat that will save your cabinet if you have a leak. We purchased the Honeywell RWD21 Water Leak Alarm and placed it under the sink to alert us to a leak should one happen.

Description
Xtreme Mats under cabinet sink mats protect your cabinets from damage caused by water leaks, chemical or product spills, stains, and scratches. Xtreme Mats are flexible and can easily be installed into existing cabinetry. Xtreme Mats feature a raised design that keep products off the bottom of the mat in the event of a leak or product spill. The raised design also channels any liquid to a location in the back of the mat which can house a water sensor alarm (sold separately). Xtreme mats can be removed quickly for easy cleaning.
I am beyond impressed with this Mat. The material is high-quality and very durable. I measured under my sink before I bought and sure enough the Mat fit my sinks exact measurements. The one I received didn’t have a water indicator but regardless this was a great buy. Yes, the price is on the high end, but after experiencing water leaks under the sink develope into mold and expensive repairs (I wasn’t going to do it myself or play with mold), this was well worth the investment. So far I‘ve had a little water leak from my faucet but this mat caught it all and I just used a cloth to absorb the water.
Initially the material smell can be a bit overwhelming but I just stuck two fabric softener sheets under the sink for a few days and the smell went away.
Perfect for under-kitchen-sink. Great protection from a dripping leak. Combine with water-alarm-things to be sure you never have a problem! The instructions for cutting an opening for pipes coming up from the floor are easy to follow. Then just use a tube of clear silicone caulk to seal the cuts. If you have a very full cabinet you should be aware that the 'lip' around the edge takes up some room and reduces the total amount of stuff that will fit sitting side by side.
Wow! Love this product. We checked under the sink after our renter moved out, and we could not believe the water damage in our oak cabinet. We cleaned out the mold and sealed off the cabinet with kilz. When this mat arrived and we put it in the sealed cabinet, it looked like a new cabinet! Of course, I had carefully measured and ordered the correct size for the cabinet. I wish that I had a picture to attach. It is flexible and fit into the cabinet beautifully. Time will tell how well it works for future leaks, but I am feeling much better --- knowing that the Xtreme Mat is suppose to hold over 3 gallons. I also purchased the moisture alarm (Honeywell) to place on the mat.
A kitchen fire started the process resulting in very nice, new kitchen cabinets. Have had R/O systems for years. Depending on type of system, some are very prone to leaks especially on filter changes or new systems. I bought a new system. Had a few leaks due to plumber's failure to follow direction in manual. Xtreme mat caught the few leaks until we fixed them. Wonderful product. Plumber never heard of them. He wants to get a couple and also to refer clients to Xtreme Mats.
This is a very sturdy mat with a good lip to protect your cabinets from water droplets and the damp or sticky stuff that goes under your kitchen sink (dish soap, gloves, sponges, etc.). Even if you don’t have a sink leak, you are working with wet hands, so I love the product.
While my mat is almost a perfect fit, it does take some work to cut openings to slide it around the water pipes. Not the products fault, but I’ve never had a kitchen sink like the one pictured where there isn’t some sort of plumbing coming up from the bottom of the cabinet.
