I've had an OXO dish brush for awhile now and this was always a suggested purchase for me that I finally went for. I love it. It holds my two brushes, even the tall one, and some hand soap perfectly. It also looks great on the counter. I agree with other reviewers that the drain tray is difficult to take out - I usually just take the soap off and pour it out which is easy enough. I've had it for a month now and no sign of rust, hopefully this stays! Definitely recommend it.
I've had this sink caddy for about a month. Super satisfied that it allows my veggie/potato brush, dish brush, bottle brush, and sponge to be organized in one space. I also make sure the brushes and sponge are rid of excess water, as well as occasionally cleaning the caddy to help prevent it from rusting like it did for the other reviewers. If it does start to rust, I'm sure a little bit of bar keepers friend can take care of that no problem. ;)
Great item to replace my old sink caddy. The brush, soap, and sponge fit in this so perfectly. Just slightly surprised that there seemed to be a little rust on the second day of use, however, I cleaned it off and it never returned after a few weeks so that is odd. I have been keeping an eye on that and it seems fine now. I will update if this turns into a rusty mess sooner than later. The bottom is plastic which is great so that there isn't any rust rubbing off onto my stainless sink if it does happen. The bottom is also removable to clean off and a little spout so you can empty the water out easily when in a hurry. Great design and product, and only knocked off that 1-star because of the strange rust issue. If no rust shows up in a few months, I'm going to re-add the star and make it 5-stars.
Bottom Line First:
I like the OXO Good Grips Stainless Steel Sink Caddy. It is large enough for a selection of brushes and sponges. It can fit near some sinks and has a clear plastic area to collect water that may drip from your sponges.

In making the decision to buy a Sink Caddy there are usually a few things you have to decide about based on what works for you.
A small caddy will hold one or two items in place, allow air to circulate around things like wet sponges and having no if they have an open bottom and if inside the sink rime water drain from them and into your sink not onto you counter. Being small it may not hold all of the sponges, and scrubbers you own and larger items like handled brushes may not fit anywhere.
A larger caddy may not fit in this same area and either it drains water onto your counter or has some kind of place where water stays until you can empty it out.
With either item if it is metal, where it comes into contact with any other metal something is going to corrode.
The OXO Good Grips Stainless Steel Sink Caddy is almost large enough for the too many cleaning items I tend to have in use. It could be made to fit inside my sink rim were I to reduce clutter around my sink. In short it is my fault that I cannot get the best use out of this caddy. This is where the better design of this caddy comes to my aid.
It has enough for two cleaning wands and will hold wands from any of several makers, not just from Good Grips. There is space for two wet sponges allowing space for air to circulate and a round area for a plastic or metal heavy duty scrubber. More than enough room for a smarter run kitchen. It also has an attached plastic fitting under the caddy so fitted as to collect any water that drips from your cleaning gear.
The use of clear plastic means that
1. You can monitor the water level and empty as necessary
2. It is detachable so that you can clean it. (It is a good idea to clean any caddy from time to time)
3. The plastic keeps the caddy from contacting other metals reducing corrosion.
The one problem I have had with this piece is that the fit to the rest of the caddy is super tight. SO far I have not been able to detach the parts and so I tip out collected water. The bad news is that this makes it a tad tricky for those occasional caddy cleanups. These are not huge problems and the fit may not be this tight on yours.
I had been looking for a kitchen sink caddy for a while, the OXO Good Grips Stainless Steel Sink Caddy seems to suit me.
Love this. I followed the advice of another reviewer and sprayed this with clear coat before using it, and haven't had any problems with rust. It's a great size - holds a bottle of dish soap, a sponge, and two long-armed scrubbers. It's never tipped over, and I love that it collects water in the bottom and I can empty it easily - it's easy to clean that way, and I'm in control of when that liquid comes out. I was tired of having those little sponge-holders on the side of the sink with suction cups because they always managed to fall off, and never had a good place for the long-armed scrubbers. This is stable, keeps the cleaners sanitary, and works great.

I'm giving 4 stars because I really like this caddy (it's the second one I've purchased), but the reason I purchased a second one and didn't give 5 stars is because it tends to rust.
My first one lasted many years and I lived in the desert. When I moved to the East Coast, it rusted really bad and I replaced it.
This new one has a teeny bit of rust visible already but it seems to wipe off. I'll be more diligent in cleaning it. I usually just take it apart and pop it in the dishwasher so it gets sanitized. Don't know if this contributed to the rust problem but I've always done that and like I said the rust started happening when I moved to where there's humidity.
Highly recommend!
I love this! This is one of my favorite finds on Amazon! I have tried many other sink caddies. The ones with a suction cup fall off the side of the sink or always seem to be in the way. I've used other plastic holders on the back of the sink that would often fill up with water or would easily fall over. I also tried the open mouth ceramic frog type, which again is always full of water and only holds one item. This is hands down the best sink caddy I have used! It holds my sponge wand, a bottle brush as well as a sponge and scrubby. When the base fills with water it comes out dribbles out from the little spout on the side or you can pick the whole thing up and tip it slowly to empty it. No need to take everything off first. It also comes apart for easy emptying and cleaning. This is well made and attractive and it stays in place. This is a great purchase and worth the extra money!
This sure helps keep the brush from emptying out while lying on the counter top. Much better arrangement. I have not yet gotten the matching bottle for a soap dispenser. It's kind of pricey for me at this time. The only issue I have is when I pick the unit up to wipe underneath, it comes apart; i.e., the upper piece comes away from the underneath drip pan. Why does it do that? When I put it together, the little clips snap into place and seem to hold it quite nicely. Yet, everything I pick it up, the two pieces separate :-/ Aside from that, I like have the matching OXO dish brush standing upright and saving the soap for the next use.
***UPDATE*** It's been about a year and a half since we purchased this must have product and still NO RUST!
We use stainless steel scrubbers and store them in the designated spot. Most members of my household forget to empty the drip tray and still, no rust. We have not sprayed the surface with anything or taken any preventative measures. Switch to a stainless steel or plastic scrubber and you will have no problems!
Great alternative to caddies that go in the sink! Just remember to drain the water and open it up for regular cleaning... Unless a science project was your real goal lol
A little tip to reduce rusting: if you use a metal scrubby, use a stainless steel one. Stainless steel will rust when it comes into contact with non stainless steel. We've had ours for some time now and no rust.
I liked the size, shape and finish.
I don't have the brush accessories which stand up in this organizer, but I intended to use it to hold 2 sponges--resting horizontally on their sides. It works well for this purpose.
I planned to put my palm scrub brush in the round area, but someone stupidly put one of those disposable metal scrub pads in that spot before I had a chance. WARNING: It will get rust on your organizer! So, I had to scrub rust off the brand new organizer a few days after I put it out. Don't be stupid--don't put things on it that will rust.
I don't particularly care for the detachable cheap clear plastic bottom -- which collects the water and residue from the wet items you store on this organizer.
What I especially like is that I quickly found a way to store our sink stopper on it. This was an unexpected and fabulous surprise. Just slide it into the the very top section of the tallest part of the organizer; and it will rest there perfectly. (I will post a photo when I get a chance.)
