I bought this item as a I was seeking an addition to the kitchen, but wanted something sustainable and modern looking. I was impressed by the durability and non-staining quality, as any colors from cooking washed off right away.
I LOVED the compact tube the utensils fit into, which saves space, and for me that was really important. Totally worth it and exactly as described.
After I read negative reviews I was a bit nervous after placing my order. My wooden utensils arrived perfect. The reason I gave 4 Stars is because the wooden container It came with had a minor crack on the inside bottom and another minor one on the outside near top part. Not a deal breaker but they should inspect more carefully overall I love these. Pleased with my purchase and it matches my bamboo cutting board perfectly.
This is a wonderful collection of the most frequently used tools in any kitchen. Made of organic materials, they are pretty to look at in their container, the handles are a perfect length, and I greatly appreciate a bit more width in the handle. Clean up is a breeze, and they are ready for the next use. I especially like the long handled wooden spoon with a hole in the center for ease of flow and better mixing of ingredients.

What is really cool about these is the elevated lip. I have been using a spoon rest for years and this is a really cool option even if I pstill place it over the rest to catch any drips. It keeps mutiple spoons from having to mix flavors in the spoon rest.

The construction is very solid and sturdy, and they naturally do not absorb heat the way a metal utensil would. I also love that I can use them whether I'm cooking with metal or teflon.

Using organic bamboo utensils is a must for my family. We're personally not fans of having chemicals leeching into our food via cheap plastic utensils (or bamboo/wooden utensil that have been treated with sealants) which can break down over time when used cooking at high heat. This set is ideally priced, provides several useful options, and even includes a bamboo holder that you can set on the counter near the stove... so your utensils are right there ready to go when you need them & you don't end up potentially burning something while fumbling around in a drawer trying to find the one you need. The only issue I had, which is incredibly minor, is that there was some small splintering where the cuts were made for one of the spoons. With some light sanding, that's an easy enough fix on my own though. Overall, I'm pleased with what we received & can see ordering the same set again once these are ready to be replaced.
I got tired of my nylon utensils flipping out of the pot because their handle was too thick and heavy or I had to use multiple spoon rests to keep the spoons from mixing flavors. These just lay on the counter or stove with just enough clearance that they don’t leave a mess. One piece felt a little rough when I first used it, but after a wash or two it’s just fine. I like this simple set. It’s a clever idea.
Very good so far. The storage cup is nice to have. I like the oversize handles.
We use a lot of ceramic cookware so we like to use wooden utensils when we can. A cheap set from Wal-Mart lasted a couple of years. Hoping these will outperform those.
Only reason I'm giving this a 4 star is because my mom was using the utensils and somehow found the only splinter on any of the utensils. It was a large splinter. Easy to remove but painful.
I love these cooking utensils! They work well, clean easily (I put them in the dishwasher), and with the container they come in they look great sitting out on the counter. I like the number of utensils you get and the different shapes. It's just right.
We were very surprised by how sturdy these spoons/spatulas were and how easily they were cleaned. We have had custom wooden spoons made/purchased and they did not last as long as they should have. It is our belief these will last a lot longer than any of the others on the market. Only time will tell as we have had them only a few months.
