I got this to be able to put all my larger cooking knives out. As both sides are usable,I can get the steak knives and scissors out too.It stands up straight, so does not take up too much counter space.I had to return a previous one because the slant took up more space. I is tall though,but knives can be pulled straight out.No sharp edges like the hanging magnetic strips. It is 4"wide at the base,and 9 1/4 high. 15" tall with the handles of my largest knives sticking up
Easy and efficient access to working culinary knives. Very stable and good magnetic pull -- holds well even large knives (see pic). Easy to clean. Small footprint for quantity of knives it will hold. Have had appx 2 weeks so cannot comment on durability but seems very well made. Good option for knives that do to size or shape will not fit in usual knife blocks
We just redid our kitchen and with the new back splash we can't rehang our magnetic hanger. This is perfect, so strong and so beautiful. Very strong, easy to clean and makes it work for our purpose,
I really like these blocks. They are great for displaying your knifes but also because of the magnet, they don't scratch your blades like other knife blocks or mag strips. The only downside (for me) is that you can only really put about 4 knifes on the block. I would love if the made a larger one that could handle more.
This is such a cool knife holder. It is currently holding 8 of my knives (the largest is an 8" chefs knife). It's a beautiful way to display them, keep them clean and easily accessible. Would also make a great gift.

I looked at multiple blocks before purchasing this one. And I absolutely love it! The knives can be housed on both sides. I just bought a new set of Victorinox and it definitely helps keep the blades sharp- instead of throwing them in a drawer!
Just moved into another condo and this cleaned up my knife drawer dramatically, its pleasing to look at and both sides have the same magnetic hold.
It can tip over when you take a knife off if you’re not careful, but that’s not a big issue - just pay attention when you’re grabbing a knife...which seems like pretty obvious advice. The magnet is really strong and it looks great. Everyone who sees it on our counter comments on how cool it is.
This is a great space saver compared to a typical knife block. I was worried about the magnet being strong enough but it’s excellent. The knives are very stable on the block.
