We moved into a smaller home and the mail kept being put on tables. So I went looking for some way to organize the mail that made it noticeable, something that wouldn''t hide a piece of mail that had slipped out of site, kept the mail organized regarding incoming and outgoing all the while looking attractive in our new home. This mail caddy is well made and fits the bill (pardon the pun) for just what I was needing.
It's even prettier in person. The metal of the carrier itself is aged in appearance, and the tags have a beautiful patina as well. It's quite sturdy. We put it on a standard height kitchen counter, and it comes up about halfway to the cabinets above. The depth lets you stack a lot of mail. We actually keep a calendar in the back "pocket" to keep us up to date, as it has enough room for it.
Very beautiful. It has that shabby chic rustic feel and serves it's purpose well. I actually have mine being held up by command hooks because I'm scared to put any holes in the wall. It still looks great and you really don't notice when there's mail 😉
Very cute rustic looking letter file. I use to pay bills. It sits on an 1910 antique table which I use as a desk. I did have to add felt on the bottom so it wouldn't scratch the table...its wire after all.
This mail holder is better in person than in the picture it's great it's old-fashioned-looking and I love it. I bought some old letters so it looks like really is antique all around because I'm not going to use it for my mail. I have it in my home for decoration but it's a great buy
