Honestly, I kinda expected a cheaply made, barely usable shelving unit that would remind me of those cheap plastic pieces of junk we use to get for our lockers in school. I was surprised by this bamboo kit. Granted it damned near takes a Ph.D. in Engineering and Physics to put the thing together properly without screwing up at least once, but once you figure it out and get it assembled, you soon realize that if the books you put in the middle lean, the shelf quickly slides all the way apart and serves no purpose than to cruelly mock you. But once you resolve this dilemma with some rubber matting and a small strip of double sided gorilla tape attached to the desk as a slide block, the shelves are pretty useful to stack stuff that ordinarily causes clutter.... ys know, stapler, scented candles, snow globes, pictures of the freeloading jerks from home... err family.
I didn’t want to write a positive review based on a previous experience with Niubee, but this is honestly a great organizer. It fits perfectly on my master bathroom counter, and it’s adjustable, so I could really put it almost anywhere. It may be a bit wide for smaller spaces. Also the instructions place a screw top along the top shelf so it can be seen. Just make adjustments during assembly. The bamboo is smooth and medium-high glossy. Well made, sturdy, and makes my bathroom accessories look beautiful.
Great little shelf. It is much higher quality than I expected for the price. Construction is of solid, smooth, splinter-free bamboo. I have it set up in a deep shelf next to my computer desk, adding a little "hutch" over my scanner. It looks great there and allowed me to add decorative items and storage to an otherwise underutilized space. Love that it expands to fit perfectly in the nook, maximizing utility of my space. The shelf took me about 30 minutes to assemble and required a Phillips head screwdriver. It would have been quicker but I didn't take careful note of which side of each panel had recesses for the screw heads so I had to redo a few. Make sure to pay attention to this when assembling! Great product.
I picked up this shelf to match my son’s bamboo corner desk. It matches perfectly. The quality is great, it was easy to put together, and creates a ton of useable space.
This organizer is decent quality (not great), but solid design, easily put together. It looks nice on a desk and provide storage space for books, materials, whatever.

These shelves fill a strange architectural cubby in our bedroom. They hold all of the books we are currently reading and, along with a few t'chotchkies, look great. Easy to assemble (I'm not handy) and made of quality materials.
The first time I ordered it, the holes were in an odd place and it couldn’t stand properly. I emailed them and they sent another to replace it.
The second time it was built easily and it looked great, but the bookshelf itself is wobbly. Otherwise I would’ve given 5 stars.
I love this little shelf unit. I have it on my desk at work, and it is the perfect way to feature some items I wanted to display while keeping them out of the way of the workspace. It was fairly easy to put together. The only problems were due to my lack of mechanical skill. I think is is quite sturdy and looks really good on my desk.
very well made. Smaller than expected based on books in picture, but works for me, very little space needed on desk. Holds full size books and organizers even though its only a CD width in size deep.
Looks good, I got this to hold a couple instruction manuals as well as other office junk, and it's been working great! put together quickly with a philips head screwdriver and has held strong.
