The day after I put this under my sink, my pipe developed a slow leak which I did not see for at least two days. There was a small puddle under the mat and the mat itself was saturated. But it definitely performed above and beyond what it is intended to do and saved from a major mess! It dried quickly after I cleaned up, so I am quite pleased.
This thing is awesome! I bought it to go under my aquarium to protect the wood surface from any splashes and spills since moving a giant aquarium is not easy or recommended. The felt will wick moisture away easily, and the underside is a rubber membrane that won't let water leach through while providing a very effective method of keeping the mat in place! The other benefit is that it looks good on a black stand. It'd be nice if this came in a roll for odd shapes, but it's really nice.
The price is excellent for what you get. I would like to see a longer roll of it sold though, that would make lining cabinets easier, and for when my wife lets me upgrade to a 55-gallon tank!
First of all, difficult to review when it's brand new! Of course I love it, my under-sink is all clean and feels great. 4 stars because I needed to order another to cover the space. My cabinet is "normal" size - this mat could be larger.
I like that I easily cut the mat to accommodated a couple of water supply lines that go through the floor.
Not sure how long this will last, but it will work for what I need it for. It was easy to cut a couple spots in the back where pipes came in. The plastic film on underside is almost like a plastic bag. I think it will hold up for a little while but eventually get stinky and hard to clean. My husband wasn’t impressed and asked why I didn’t get a mat with a lip ($$$$). For a budget conscious person- this will work. It should soak up any water or cleaning stuff that may spill.
The product is just as advertised and is great so great I ordered one more then another. I bought one to cover and protect under the kitchen sink where a leaky pipe ruined some wood then decided it looked so nice I'd do under the other pipe for incase that leaked too then I decided it looked so nice I'd do the entire area. I definitely would recommend.

We recently moved into a place with cheap coated particle board in the bathroom cabinet under the sink. I was super worried the thin coating on the cabinets would bubble and peel will any leak. Sure enough my daughter was messing with the sink and it leaked a heavy amount under the cabinet and she didn't tell us right away.... this product did as expected and saved the day. There was no damage! The underside of the mat is coated and water proof keeping the water from soaking all the way through. Its nicely textured on top to absorb and control water spills. We ordered the largest mat and instead of cutting it to fit we laid the mat up the sides of the cabinet.
Haven't installed it yet, but should have noticed the size. I assumed it would fit a normal kitchen sink, but it's not large enough. So, as someone else said, you'll need 2 of these for under your normal sized kitchen sink. It looks great and I think it will be a great mat for my new bathroom vanity. It is flexible enough that I think I can adapt it to fit up the sides to create a nice "pocket" to catch spills. Still looking for something to work around the three pipes and one electric connector under my kitchen sink. I'll see how it works in my bathroom and then make a decision.
Got it quickly and was able to use it right away. Sturdy material but easy to cut to size. If you have a larger double sink I suggest buying 2, which will let you cut pieces to cover the whole cabinet bottom and still have some left over. I like it because it isn't "poofy" and is slip proof.
This is a great material for providing protection under the sink. It feels like felt but has a plastic coating in the back side to help catch and absorb any small spills that might occur under your kitchen or bath sinks. I love that it is easy to cut to size and is machine washable (you need to air dry). Very fast shipping and the company contacted me before my shipment arrived to check in and thank me for my purchase. High quality mat that is made in the U.S.A.
I got this after changing the caulk around my sink...I think my kids are just sloshing water around too much or there is a leak on the dishwasher line either way, the mat is still dry but it fit perfectly under my sink. I thought it was a bit pricey but you pay for what you get. Try it out!
