I bought this knife organizer along with the smaller one. I stopped putting my knives on my kitchen counter in a block after having a Feng Shui consultant tell me it was not a good idea. So, I put them into a drawer with a plastic organizer. In no time at all the knives had cut through the plastic and were sliding all over. These organizers were the perfect answer to my problem; knives out of sight and neatly organized so I wasn't in danger of slicing my hand every time I dug in the drawer for one. It's very sturdy and looks great. I would definitely recommend.
This literally is thre spitting image of he one I found at the container store... except $20 cheaper. It looks good seems to be good quality and all my knives have a place. I hated them all piled on top of each other :\. We are going to get our knives sharpened and it seemed like a silly thing to do if I was just going to pile them in a drawer to get knocked and broken. It’s a great solution and looks so nice and tidy.
I think I have a lot of knives. I never like them in a wood block on the counter so they were dangerously placed in a plastic box organizer in my drawer. I found this knife block, decided to give it a try and am extremely satisfied. I have always disliked the sound of knives clanking around each other in my drawer when I reach for them and the bamboo keeps things quiet. Better and more importantly it keeps all the blades safely away from my hands when reaching for my knives and you can use the smaller steak knife slots for pairing and other miscellaneous knives.
Works great to hold my cutco knives in the drawer.
I wasn't totally sure it this would work. I was worried it would make the knifes sit up making it not The dimensions they have listed are true to the size so it fit perfectly in the drawer I was going to store the block. It does allow for versatile usage when it comes to the sizes of knives that I have which was a plus. I really like it

Once our new kitchen was completed. We had to do something about the eyesore that the wood knife rack created. I turned to Amazon where I found YBM Home & Kitchens, bamboo draw knife rack. Now all our knives are off the counter and the ugly wood rack is in the trash .
Love how organized this piece made my knife drawer. Only one knife out of all of them didn't fit well enough and would fall out of place easily, but that wouldn't discourage me from getting it again. That knife is simply placed along side of the organizer.
They were not 17 inches. Had to jam them in with rubber mallet. Also, I am experiencing the knives coming up and jamming the drawer and cannot open them.

Perfect wooden knife rack to use in a drawer as part or a reorganization of one of our kitchen drawers. Used with a wooden drawer divider it is perfect to help complete the drawer interior. It hold all of our knives fro the smallest to the largest chef's knife so that they are easily available and hopefully will last for many years.
I have an unusual size set of knives (13 knives and a sharpener) and was having a difficult time finding a drawer organizer for them. This works great! Knives sit in it nicely and there is even an extra slots should I purchase more knives. Happy to have my knives tucked away in the drawer nicely and to be rid of the ugly knife block!
