I hesitated to order these after reading the reviews, but I have been happy with them so far. As others have mentioned, some of the hooks are very small, but we were able to use them for things like scissors, utility knife and anything with a string attached. And some of the hooks were real head scratchers on what they would be useful for. I did read that some people thought the paint was too thick, but we didn't experience any issues with ours. Some were a bit difficult to move once you put them in, but it is mostly a matter of tilting and lifting. Instructions were included on how to tighten or loosen the hook catch, but ours worked perfectly. If adding additional hooks in the future, we will probably order them individually. But over all, good assortment.
These hooks are FAR superior to traditional pegboard hooks for Wall Control pegboards. My only complaint is that there are no options for hooks that don't have the huge lip on the end other than the extra-long piece. Quite a few of the items I want to hang up won't go on the hooks because the end of all but the smallest hook sticks up nearly 1/2 inch (and even the smallest sticks up about 3/8 inch) — tools with fatter handles and/or smaller hanging holes can't make the "turn," and even if some of them could, the "root" of the hook is too wide for them to sit on. (I ***HATE*** attaching hanging cords to my gardening tools; they get in the way when I'm trying to use the tool.)
I solved the problem by using my bench grinder to grind down the lip of a few hooks for the tools I need to hang. It obviously took off the powder coating on the end of the hook, but at least the hook is useable now.
It would be nice if the manufacturer would offer some medium-length skinny hooks. But all in all, a good purchase.
Otherwise,
I love the red color of these for adding a bold splash of color in my kitchen. They are fairly sturdy, although you MUST use the o-rings if you want them to feel very sturdy. Without the o-rings, the hooks will definitely shake and even potentially come out, especially while removing items.
As you can see in the attached pic, I use them in my kitchen. They work for a decent chunk of my kitchen tools, but for some, the holes just don't work for these hooks.
This is a useful kit to make your Wall Control Pegboard more functional. It holds my drill, chisels, duct tape, packing tape dispenser, gloves (attached with binder clips), flashlights (attached with silicone ties), the one random wrench I have, and more. I felt that I still needed some actual tool holders so I added a couple of the 5-slot units and eventually got some bins.
A nice selection of heavy-duty hooks and holders that look great with our Wall Control panels — the red against the metal panels looks fantastic. I bought this as an add-on to go with the set of two panels (which already came with a few hooks, shelves, holders etc., but we wanted a few more to be able to hang more things). Specifically, we were looking for more single hooks for our purposes, and this set comes with lots of them. The one thing I have noticed with these hooks is that while they seem to latch into the wall panels pretty securely, the do tend to come out when you lift up an item, so you have to get the hang of the right angle to remove hung-up tools. Overall though, we do love this wall system and will likely purchase at least one more additional panel to maximize wall storage space.

The Wall Control Pegboard 26 Piece Deluxe Slotted Hook Kit for Wall Control’s Pegboard and Slotted Tool Board is great for not only garage tool storage and organization but also great for organizing the craft room, pots and pans in the kitchen, and virtually any room where a little Wall Control pegboard wall organization is needed. Wall Control Slotted Metal Pegboard Hooks feature a scratch and rust resistant baked-on finish. These more secure and stable toolboard hooks are for use with the slots found in Wall Control Metal Pegboard tool board panels only. Although Wall Control Metal Pegboard Panels will accept conventional 1/4in pegboard accessories as well as Wall Control Slotted Accessories the Slotted Secure Tool Board Hooks included in this pack are only for use with Wall Control Metal Pegboard Panels and Tool Boards. Wall Control Pegboard Products are Made in the USA.

the stems of the pegs are a little fat, so items with a narrow hole need to have a string or leather loop added. But I love that they don't fall off the pegboard when I remove a tool!
I adore Wall Control and their product line. They take the old pegboard thing and turned it into an art form of organization. SUCH high quality and incredibly sturdy. And looks amazing on the wall. We are using this set for the kitchen for pots and pans and it's amazing having everything right there and so easy to get to and to store again. We also have another whole set out in our garage workroom for our tools. It classes up the workbench and goes beautifully in a custom designed kitchen.
The majority of these hooks have served me well. I like how they attach to my galvanized steel pegboard pretty securely (sometimes there's a little wobble) and the shapes actually work pretty well for my purpose. I have them hanging pots and pans and utensils in my kitchen and these fit my pegboard better than the usual 1/8-1/4" pegs did. I think if I could find actual 1/4" pegs instead of the ones that are supposed to work on either size pegboard then maybe I would like those better, but since I have yet to find those, I will continue to use these that fit in the slits in the board instead of the holes. Also the red color pops nicely off the stainless steel.
I've put up several peg boards in my time, but this setup is designed to work and it just works. The hooks and parts fit together tighter and more securely, and they're very sturdy. A few needed a little sanding; the paint had formed a little droplet shape on the end and it wouldn't fit into the board. Other than that, it's strong enough for just about anything your wall can handle, and there are tons of different innovative things you can put on the boards. A+.
I have Wall Control galvanized steel pegboard panels on my kitchen wall, above my stove. Originally, I used regular pegboard hooks because that is what I already had for my closet where I hang purses and belts and such. They always seemed a little loose fitting, though. So I decided to order this assortment pack. These are perfect. They are especially for these wall panels and fit snugly and look very attractive, too. This is definitely the way to go with the Wall Control panels. Easy to move around on the panel, yet stay firmly in place when you have them attached. I hang both glass and pots and pans on them and feel very comfortable doing so.
