I wasn't sure about this when I purchased it but I like the idea of having a place to set my lid. I wondered why no one else could make a similar product that is much more attractive, however I will say that this is an amazing item. My daughter came to visit me and I showed her in her mouth dropped open, she thought wow how great is that and now she just ordered one for her new kitchen / house

As usual my husband laughed when he saw this-telling me we already had a great stainless steel spoon rest. Now it is the only one he uses and I am the one laughing. ,
This does exactly as described, great to hold a lid and spoon while you're cooking. Keep in mind your counter space for those who may not have that much counter real estate. Great product though!
