I am forever looking for dish towels that are absorbent. One of these initially came with a Pro Chef product I purchased and I fell in love with it. Yes, it is advertised as a polishing cloth and it does that exceptionally well (particularly on my glass-top range!). However, for a hand-towel or kitchen towel, it is more absorbent than anything I've come across. I spend a great deal of time in my kitchen (cooking 2-3 meals a day), and these cloths rank up there with the most important elements of my day-to-day kitchen necessities.
These are VERY WELL made, soft and they DO get off fingerprints with ease! Depending on what the person has on their hands when they leave hand prints and fingerprints, the amount of wiping and pressure can alter. I wiped off with ease just regular oily fingerprints and even some that touched greasy food. I did NOT use any water or cleaner when I used them for just fingerprints.
When I used these to buff my refrigerator after using a Stainless steel wipe or cleaner, these buffed the surface with no streaks!
The quality is wonderful! They are about the size of 4 regular washcloths laid in a square. Soft and sturdy!
PS. I used the Weiman stainless steel wipes and spray and the combo of using the Weiman products and this is perfect!
It turns out that you just need a cloth and elbow grease. Recently cleaned out under my sink. I had six different (expensive!) stainless cleaners. They were all disappointments. They left greasy residue, streaks, didn't cut through grime...you name it. I have labs and kids. This is no pristine showroom kitchen.
I ordered this set to try with one of my existing cleaners. When I read reviews, many had said to use hot water. JUST hot water. Ooooookay. So I tried it. Wow. It worked. The cloth has enough texture to get the oily residue layers off as well as kid prints and dog nose prints. I'm still working on a couple stubborn windex spray stains but I am really happy with these cloths. And some cloths I can't stand the weird stick-to-your-hands microfiber touch of. These ones I'm okay with. :)
Do not hesitate to order these magical cloths! I use a spray bottle with plain water and these cloths to clean my windows, mirrors, and stainless steel appliances. It leaves no streaks or shadows and also works on granite and other sensitive surfaces. You just toss it in the wash and it comes out ready for more use. Read the reviews about how these seem to do a better job with stainless than similar items and I have to agree. I use them for all my stainless, glass and the induction cooktop. I just ordered some more.

Writing about these cloths as I'm buying a second batch. Originally got them for stainless and they worked well. However, one thing I'll say is I've developed a passion for getting my nice glasses unbelievably clean just from using these cloths.
