This thing was inexpensive but a stylish choice. I'm glad I decided to get it. For the longest time I was using a command strip to hang my keys up, and while it did the job it looked unsightly. At the height of my laziness, I literally hung this thing up by positioning the command strip I already had up in the middle of the holder and using thumb tacks in the holes where screws would go to secure it. It works great, and will leave the tiniest holes in my wall that I doubt my landlord will notice. Also, yeah, it can handle stuff on it. I wouldn't hang anything ridiculously heavy on it or anything, but a set of keys or two and some mail will chill on there just fine. Anyway, it rocks and I'm satisfied with my purchase.
The product itself is exactly as described. Well-built, looks great, and serves my purposes well. The challenge is with the screws that came with the product. One of the two screws was malformed where the Phillips head goes and will not turn. "Just buy another screw" would be my solution if the screw wasn't of a certain size and, more importantly, a matching color. I tried to e-mail Interdesign directly and never got a reply. It's not worth exchanging over a screw, but I also cannot leave a 5 star review for something with damaged hardware and unresponsiveness from the manufacturer.
Edit: Updated to 5 stars; Interdesign did not e-mail me back but the replacement screws showed up in my mailbox today.
This is a handy item to have next to my front door to hold keys and bills. The item is shipped fully assembled, and It did come with wall anchors and screws, but no instructions for hanging (this might be second nature to some people, but I feel that instructions should always be included because not everyone knows what they're doing).
I rent an apartment and did not want to risk damaging the walls. I used a few lines of 3M tape to hold it up. It stayed up for about a day before falling sometime in the middle of the night while I was sleeping.
As others have suggested, a good alternative to hang this would be to use the 3M hooks, instead of the tape. I'm planning on purchasing these tonight. A handy little item, but hanging it should be a little less fussy.
Perfect for what I needed and matches the decor. Did not use the mounting screws, used the 3M removable strips and held great. Fits in a small area but keeps the keys in one place instead of searching for them somewhere in the mess on the table. Quality is great for the price and looks and feels a higher quality. Would recommend this for anyone for a small nice place to keep organized.
The first one we got had a broken piece where the screw holds it to the wall. Returned it for a replacement. It's not very sturdy, but I suppose it's only supposed to hold a little weight. The design is good, and it does look very nice once its installed. Be careful putting the screws in because the flaps the screws go through seem like they will snap off with a little pressure.

Just got this item and just put it on the wall. I dropped a star for two reasons. The first is that the baskets aren't wide enough for the magazine/catalogues that companies send out. This was a huge part of why I wanted something like this - so these things have a place to go while my fiancée decides if she wants to look at them or throw them away. The second reason is for the screws that come w/ the basket(s). They are colored to match the basket however, they are garbage. I stripped two of them while screwing them into the wall anchors. Save yourself the headache and simply use your own hardware to hang it. I can barely see the screws as it is and, frankly, I'm already annoyed that when I go to take out this short-term solution to a problem that I'm going to be fighting w/ these screws to come out.
Otherwise, this product is exactly what I wanted, it came exactly as pictured and for under $30, I really have nothing to complain about.
I don't think this is very attractive at all, but I knew what I was getting. I didn't want to spend $50 - $100 on one of these. It's sturdy and does the job. The marker is a bit hard to erase sometimes, leaving small traces behind, but it's not bad. You screw it into the wall near the basket or hang it on the fridge with magnets. The four corners of the dry erase board are magnetic so if you have 4 strong double sided magnets it will stay on the fridge very nicely.
Very classy looking. The hooks are a bit smaller than I anticipated and the mail slot is shorter in height, but neither is significant enough to lose a star. It was super easy to hang up and looks great in my kitchen. I use the hooks to hang dog leashes so they are right next to the door (the hooks were clearly meant to hold keyrings, hence the smaller size. I can hook the leashes onto the hooks easily, but the bulk of our longer 1.5" width dog leashes doesn't fit as comfortably in the hook. We make it work though.) Overall I'm very happy I made the purchase.
No adhesion—two small screws securely mount it to any wall. Well designed and manufactured. I mounted two of them to hang the jackets we use every day. As you know, most jackets come with a small loop near the collar on the inside of the jacket so that works perfectly—jackets are quick to access and return—easy on/easy off.
This design is just what I expected. I got it as a gift for my father who lives alone and has a tendency to misplace his keys... a LOT. His kitchen table often ends up looking like the back of the post office too. Since installing this baby, my father has become religious about putting his mail and keys up as soon as he gets inside. It really helps to keep things organized-and now he can actually sit at the kitchen table without moving a pile of mail.
When I opened the package, it looked just like the picture here. It's both a modern and a traditional design and I think would look good in just about any home. The front is a sort of woven hard mesh, but very sturdy. I think the size is perfect. I cannot speak to how easy it was to install, as my father did that, but I do know that he had no trouble with it.
I would recommend this to anyone who often misplaces their keys, or could use a little mail organization.
