I think this is kind of small for kitchen utensil holder. If you only have a basic five piece set of something it would be okay, but thick handles like on kitchenaid utensils wouldn't fit well. I am using this in my craft room to hold my paintbrushes. Holds about 30 paintbrushes of all sizes easily. Love the color. I bought the light green. It almost looks like jade, very pretty.
I bought with a purpose in mind. Perfect for what I want to use it for, but I think it's too light and too short to be used as a utensil holder. Disclaimer: I haven't actually tried it out with placing utensils in it. Perfect for Origami Owl display table and perfect as a vase.
Wanted to add a functional owl to my altar and of course I found something on Amazon. Holds a ton of my incense sticks, adds a bit of color, and brings me much joy. Would work really well in the kitchen as it's pictured or in the bedroom/bathroom holding makeup brushes.

i love this owl utensil holder. i actually used it as a planter and it holds a small snake plant perfectly. it doesn't have a drain hole though (obviously) because that was not it's intended use, but it works for me. i love it! looks so cute on my open shelves in my kitchen

The color makes a beautiful accent piece, along with a matching tea kettle, in my kitchen; and it holds all of the kitchen utensils that I want to keep close at hand. I couldn't have asked for more!
It's cuter and larger than expected. I use it to store pencils, for which it is almost too tall, but I could have chosen to put something else inside so that's on me. It looks nice on my table and it doesn't feel cheap, even if we all know it's a massed produced good.
This thing is adorable. Holds 6 or 7 large wooden spoons and three medium wire whisks. A little bit larger than I thought it was actually. I love it. Thinking of getting one for my sister.
I am quite satisfied with this product. The size is ideal, it has a nice weight to it, and the color (I ordered "blue") is gorgeous. The 3.5" wide opening in the top works well for holding both utensils or decorations.
