Over the Kitchen Sink Dish Drainer Drying Rack, Chrome

We just moved into a new house that has only one (large) sink. I have always washed my dishes in one sink, rinsed them in a second, and set them on the counter to dry. To conserve water, I really didn't want to leave the water running constantly as I washed dishes in a single sink! So I scoured the internet for a solution and came across this basket! I am so so SO happy that we bought this. It now straddles one side of my sink. I wash dishes and set them in this basket, then rinse them and set them on the counter to dry (it just works for us!). When I first opened the package, I was a little discouraged by the handles. They do "collapse" on a hinge, so take that into account when measuring. When they are extended ("up" as shown in photos), they do stop in place and don't fold up any higher. This proved to be helpful for me because with them folded down, the basket wasn't long enough, but with the handles "up", they perfectly support the basket across the width of my sink. We've been using it for a month now and it shows no signs of rusting. The bottom inch or so of the basket is coated in a clear epoxy that I hope will help keep the basket in good shape. I'm really glad that we bought this and think it's an amazing product for the price!

Fits perfectly in my sink! I was interested in saving counter space & this did the trick. It feels durable - I only needed to extend it on one side & it still looks good & feels balanced. It holds a fair amount of items & I’d recommend it to anyone with minimal counter space - I also am using it to rinse of my dishes after washing with the handheld device - works beautifully for that! If anything changes, I’ll amend my review but so far I’m loving it!

Perfect to save counter space! I have a stainless steel farmsink and it holds up well ☺️

It's a great little rack! Doesn't hold a TON of stuff, but it is a nice addition to the one we have sitting on the counter. It does hold large sheet pans and our cutting boards, so that is nice!

This is the best sink drain rack for anyone that has a single sink. I hate looking at my dishes drying on the side of my counter. The area that my dishes is drying makes my area messy looking. I try the dish mat for placing my dishes for drying and that looks messy to. I saw this small sink dish drainer rack at one of my friends house and I fell in love with this. I asked where did he found this drainer I went back home login to amazon and purchase it right off. This small sink dish drainer can hold just has much dishes than using that stupid drying mat. When my dishes is drying my counter and the sink area looks so much better I'm so happy that someone thought about making something so perfect. I just love the way that they made this drainer rack for single sinks.

SimpleHouseware Over the Sink Drainer, Chrome

This does what I need it to do! Pretty good price, too. The only thing that would make it better is if it was adjustable. Still, I’m quite happy with it!

Excellent quality. It is so sturdy and it is such a fabulous idea. Keeps my sink area looking neat and tidy. I got it because I have such limited space and nowhere to put a drainage rack. Doing the dishes became such a pain. (More than usual) The manufacturer clearly thinks about people and their household issues. I love this item. Fits perfectly in my sink and saves on space.

At first, this wasn't fitting well in our sink. THEN... I realized that the ends unfold or fold to ensure that this can fit a sink of any size! Very helpful and allows us to rotate the rack to fit in either direction. It's sturdy and (for us) typically is holding 2-3 ceramic plates and bowls, a few knives and a stovetop pan. Works great and great value.

For the few times we need the dish drainer, the normal one that sits on the counter just becomes a junk collector and becomes a gross piece of plastic. This over the sink drainer has a classy look (chrome), fits neatly into the sink, and frees up more counter space. Very pleased with my purchase.

I no longer do much cooking. I'm teased about not using my dish washer, but I do use it! I store pots and pans in it, smile. I hand wash the small amount of dishes I use and this drain is the perfect size. It is sturdy, well made, and has a nice appearance. Nothing ricky-ticky about it.
