Very heavy, and very washable--wont slip around on your desk.. This doesn't look or feel like plastic, and probably the specked beige one looks more like a stone. I picked white because I have a salon and organize trimmers and scissors this way. VERY professional looking and feeling, the health department will like these.
I bought this to put on my bathroom counter to hold the tips of my Blow dryer, Flat iron, and Curling iron. Its the perfect size opening for all 3! It’s a bit lighter than I’d like but it’s working out just fine. Love it!

It's a very solid piece, modern design, and pure white color (not beige or anything like that). It looks absolutely beautiful on my counter and works well holding all my makeup bushes. Would purchase again for myself and thinking about getting one for my sister and mother as well.
