These shelves are great! We purchased 12 of the soft-close shelves in maple. Measuring the openings was the hardest part because we didn't want to mess it up. The shelves came early, 5 days before the delivery window, and they were well packaged. All of the packaging is recyclable.
Installation was fast, the first one took the longest (10 minutes) the rest took about 2-3 minutes each. The instructions are very thorough with a lot of extra information. Small mistakes with installation are easy to figure out and fix.
We had 4 different sizes and each one came with a template to help align the hardware correctly. We did a double door pantry cabinet and measured each side as a cabinet with a single door, and a full 27in wide cabinet. The instructions have 1 small extra step if you are putting the hardware on an existing shelf; install L-brackets to the top of the shelf in the back of the cabinet to keep it from tipping. We did this and have no problems fully extending our shelves.
Overall, these drawers are just ok. The construction of the drawers themselves is good, however, the drawer slides do not operate very smoothly. For the price, I was expecting better quality. If they changed the drawer slides to Blumotion slides, then this would be a 5 star product.
We are very pleased with these drawers. Quality built and quick, responsive customer service. Maximized our huge cabinets giving us easy access to the items stored in the back. We plan to order more for a few other cabinets!
So happy with the quality of this product and the fact you can order it to fit......tried one then ordered 3 more after seeing how great it was. Would order again.
This was a perfect solution under the sink but works in other areas as well!!!
