These are absolutely amazing! They look sleek and elegant as well a very practical. It does not include the fasteners but that is understandable because you might need different ones depending on your wall type (drywall, plaster, concrete, etc.). These are not a chrome or brushed steel finish but more of a silver enamel that works well with brushed steel and probably scratch less.
I highly recommend these!
Use for pots and pans. Does a great job in the pantry. Wish the hooks were a little bigger but that would be my only complaint.
I purchased three sets of 2 rails for use in my kitchen, and I am absolutely in love with them. I'm using three of the bars with three trios of the Bygel Containers, and plan to create an indoor herb garden with them. One bar has been mounted on the side of my cabinets for use with dish towels and hand towels. The remaining two bars were perfect for a DIY project my husband and I did to create hanging pot racks with lid storage. I'm very pleased with how all of the bars are functioning -- they are strong (one bar has a total of 5 cast iron pans hanging from it and hasn't bowed or warped in any way), attractive (I love the brushed finish), and able to be used in a multitude of ways.
The S-Hooks are nice, but I would like them more if they were slightly larger. They're also quite difficult to bend (we wanted to crimp one end of them to prevent them from slipping off the rail when we remove pots from them), but that is just a statement on how strong they are. If you are planning to use these bars for a herb garden with the Bygel Containers, my tip would be to hot glue in the holes at the bottom of the container to prevent leakage from the pots. Create drainage (cut a plastic cup, etc.) and they still work well.
I'd highly recommend these bars to anyone looking for functional kitchen rails. I know that the price is a bit high here on Amazon compared to in the store, where two rails and two packs of S hooks cost about $8, but for me it beats having to drive 4+ hours to get to an IKEA. Worth it!
Used these to to hang my Disney mug collection! The only thing I don't like is that is didn't some with some simple hardware!
these are small, heavy s hooks. they are heavy for their size so they do not swing as much as the longer "fancier" lighter weight kind. no swervy, curvy style with knobs. very, very pleased with these. they are more compact vertically and horizontally so things hang up higher. it is easier to put the loop over these hooks without holding the hook with your other hand since they do not swing as much also. if you are looking for excellent function, these are the best I have found. I have bought 4 kinds from amazon and several kinds at local stores. these are the ones I like. I prefer better function over more beauty. if you have to have shiney shine maybe you could coat them in glitter fingernail polish???? hahhhahahahahh

I've purchased several of these to use as storage rails around the house. I've put one under each kitchen and bathroom sink, one by the stove, and two in the master closet. Having them under the sinks allows me to hang up items that are still damp rather than placing them in a receptacle or rack of some kind. This includes brushes, bath gloves, rubber kitchen gloves, etc. In the master closet, which serves as a multi-purpose clothing and linen closet for my condo, I have tall items such as mops, brooms, etc. hanging on one, and smaller wardrobe items, such as belts and scarves, hanging on the other. Very handy racks that take up very little space and are actually quite attractive despite their humble, fake-stainless finish. They're solidly made, but the finish will not hold up over time. If they were stainless steel, I'd happily pay the extra money and give them five stars. As they are, four stars.
Love this kitchen system. These rails can be used for many things and many ways. IKEA also carries baskets and containers that hang on the rails.
These were an answer to our lid problems!!! We used the rails to mount inside of our cabinets and each holds 2 side by side lids to our pots and pans. While we didn't need the S hooks for this project, they come in handy for other projects. Its definitely a cheaper product to buy IN Ikea... but not all of us have an Ikea handy... so this was worth it to us! Note... we mounted them in the cabinet along the walls of the cabinet... not the doors, so as to keep the lids from jangling.
I love love love this organizer. I measured the wall I wanted to put this on and was having a hard time finding something that was the right size. I was a little worried this wouldn't work, but it worked perfectly! It's well built and sturdy enough for multiple pans. The only thing I'd change is maybe the hooks... since they're symmetrical sometimes they slip off. Other than that it's perfect.
I put this up on the blank wall behind my range. I was surprised by how many items fit comfortably hanging from it. I have several various sized pots and pans plus some utensils that are too large or bulky for a drawer or standing up in a holder. I was very pleased to discover I could put my two most frequently used pot lids on the rack too. They stand up with bottom edge sitting between the rack (bar) and tee wall. I installed on drywall using only two EZ Twist anchors and screws, one at each end bracket.
