I have 5 kids, 4 of them are boys. Cereal is a separate food group for school aged boys. Unfortunately, my boys couldn't figure out how to shove the cereal bag down in the box and actually close the cardboard box that cereal comes in. Then a different boy would search the pantry for his favorite cereal, most likely in a rush to eat it so another brother couldn't eat that one. I'm assuming it was a rush since there would be cereal box and other pantry debris all over the floor. I was sick of the mess. Sick of wasted food spilled all over the floor, and sick of my pantry looking like the Red cross needed to send a team to help us recover from some type of starving boy disaster. In desperation I ordered these containers. I've been a mom for a long time now, I've had cereal containers before. They smelled like plastic and all the cereal tasted like plastic. They got tossed in the recycle bin. It's time to try again. No plastic smell! They were air tight so the cereal stays fresh (in all fairness, it's only in there maybe 3 days but then we just dump in a new box...or now the big cheaper bags. So far, these have survived crashing from the pantry shelf to the floor without the lid popping off. I'm actually looking into buying more and other containers (hung don't even want to know about our chip bag problems!). I would recommend these for sure.
I ordered these and was quick to get them out and in use. One lid was defective and within 3 hours of reaching out to the seller (letting them know one lid was defective) the seller shipped me a whole new container and lid. I’m seriously so impressed!
The containers are easy to clean and super easy to use. I ordered 2 sets because I like them so much! The fit in my cabinets well. I do alternate them one upside down next to one right side up because I can cram more containers into my cabinets. I have not used the labels yet but they are nice and sticky- I have used the chalk pen. It is a little runny but eventually I got the hang of writing with it.
The containers went through the dishwasher well without warping. The cereal is still free a week later. I’m a very very happy coustomer!
These are a must. I love that you can see what type of cereal and most importantly, how much is left. Love the labels and the marker is actually a great marker.. It writes very bright and dries fast. Every Pantry needs this!!!
Love these containers! My cabinets are SUPER short and regular ceareal boxes were too tall. Turning them to the side only made the doors not close so I went on a search for plastic containers. One would not think this was hard but I kept finding ones that also were too tall, or were short and held very little cereal. The opening to my cabinets are only 11" tall and these are perfect! They also hold a TON of cereal. The lids are securely on and the pour spout is not flimsy like most. Love that it comes with chalk labels and a pen. Someone complained that the company's logo doesn't come off... simply cover it with the label and they look fine! They also gave coupons inside the box. Will definitely buy more and HIGHLY recommend!
I ordered two sets of these Cereal Storage Containers and when they arrived there was a crack in one of the lids. I contacted Chefs Path the next morning to ask what I needed to do to get another lid and they took care of the situation immediately by sending me a replacement set. I received it yesterday and it’s in great shape. I’ve been using the containers for the last two weeks and they are fantastic. The cereal stays fresh inside and the pour spout and grip built into the back work great to keep the container from slipping out of your hands. The container will hold a family size box of cereal. I looked over all the others I could find on Amazon and settled on these because of the size, sealable lid, quality, BPA Free (as I do not believe in plastics leaching into food over time) and having labels to go with them. Another feature I found was the quality of the plastic and its durability to drops. Have containers that have the pushdown air seals and latch air seal lids and when the plastic hits the floor it cracks and shatters like fiberglass. I really like the size and will certainly look for bigger ones in the future as I have two very fast growing girls and a pantry that needs upkeep. :) Currently, I have found no drawbacks on these and they fit kitchen corner lazy susans perfectly with size and shape and don't have to be laid down. I bought this to help organize my grandkids cereal collection while visiting in Brooklyn. Apts there need all the help they can get and these were perfect to set on counter. They are larger than I expected and the big box of cheerios fit in one. Easy to open for them to be self efficient. Easy lock system.
This is exactly what I was looking for, mostly to keep bugs away. They have hermetic seals that’ll do the trick. They’re not made out of flimsy plastic, but rather a sturdy one. They fit perfectly in my shelves. For the price, this product is a steal. More importantly to me, though, is the company’s excellent customer support. One of the lids wasn’t closing properly (too small, not defective). I wrote the company directly to request a new lid only. By the next day, they wrote back saying they’d actually shipped a 2 piece container set! They exceeded my expectations in an extremely timely manner. I’ll definitely continue to buy from them.
I ordered these to help organize my pantry. They are thin and nicely shaped in order to fit several on a shelf. The ability to change the names written on the containers is a nice way to keep using them over and over. I like these so much I have ordered more!
The containers are a nice quality and the lids have nice latches that seem sturdier than similar type containers. I thought they would be a little bigger than they actually are though, the Costco sized bags of cereal just barely fit. Overall I’m really happy with them and glad they came on a three pack.
